Nike Basketball is announcing its Class of 2025: an elite trio of NIL athletes who reaffirm the brand’s leading position atop the game and reflect its dedication to supporting and inspiring the next generation of hoopers.
Five-star athletes Aaliyah Chavez, Brandon McCoy and Tyran Stokes are joining Nike Basketball’s unparalleled NIL roster, which includes the top young hoopers in the game, fueled by Nike’s holistic, industry-leading support and longstanding commitment to innovation.
Like their fellow Nike Basketball NIL athletes, Aaliyah, Brandon and Tyran are leaders on the court and catalysts for progress, embodying Nike’s defining values: creativity, courage and a belief in moving the world forward through the power of sport.
Aaliyah, the No. 1 athlete in her class, is set to begin her freshman season at the University of Oklahoma after winning multiple national Player of the Year and All-American honors while leading Monterey High School (Lubbock, Texas) to a state championship. She averaged roughly 35 points and nine rebounds per game during her senior season, finishing her high school career with nearly 4,800 points and 1,300 rebounds, ranking her among the most prolific prep scorers of all time.
Aaliyah also led her AAU team to Nike Nationals championships in 2022 and 2024, was named to the 2025 USA Women’s Nike Hoop Summit Team, and is the first No. 1 overall recruit to sign at Oklahoma.
“The women’s game is on the rise, and Nike and its athletes are a huge reason for that growth,” says Aaliyah. “Partnering with Nike to help grow the game even more is really exciting. I want to show the next generation of young girls that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it.”
Brandon, a top prospect in his class, averaged nearly 16 points and seven rebounds per game during his junior season at St. John Bosco High School (Bellflower, California) before transferring this summer to the elite Sierra Canyon High School (Chatsworth, California). He also recently took home Mamba League Invitational and U19 FIBA World Cup championships and ranked third among all scorers at Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League Peach Jam, averaging 22 points per game.
“I’ve had the goal of becoming a Nike athlete written on my wall for two years, so to officially be part of the family means everything to me,” says Brandon. “Knowing I'm backed by an elite program with elite players and great people, on and off the court, gives me even more hunger to go harder, be the best version of myself, and work alongside Nike to use my platform to give back to the youth.”
Tyran, the No. 1 athlete in his class, averaged 21 points and more than nine rebounds per game last season as a junior at Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, California). He’s also won U19 and U17 FIBA World Cup gold medals over the past two years, as well as a FIBA U16 Americas Championship in 2023.
“Partnering with Nike means I’m joining a team, a family and a legacy,” says Tyran. “I’m going to be surrounded by high-level, talented people who will keep me working hard to be at the top of my game. I also want to work with Nike to connect with young athletes and give feedback on our footwear and apparel — not just from me, but from my community.”
Aaliyah, Brandon and Tyran join a Nike Basketball NIL roster that includes the top young talent in the game, including Ace Bailey, Jazzy Davidson, AJ Dybantsa, Dylan Harper, Jerzy Robinson and JuJu Watkins.
These NIL partnerships, and others across Nike’s NIL athlete portfolio, extend beyond sponsorship. They’re career-building collaborations that help athletes create something bigger while shaping the future of the brand and informing how it serves the next generation.
This takes form in individual, personalized support for athletes, both in their performance and training and in their most important moments away from the game. From product and styling to support with media and content, Nike leverages the full weight of the brand to provide a best-in-class partnership to every NIL athlete — giving them tools for long-term success across sport, business and culture.
What’s more, this industry-leading approach reflects Nike’s five-decade history as the brand of athletes and its continued commitment to inspiring and uplifting the next generation through partnerships, innovation and storytelling that expand sport around the world.
