Nike ACG has spent decades chasing the call of the wild — across every surface, in every season, through every condition.

Now, in that spirit, Nike ACG is introducing the All Conditions Racing Department: an elite roster of athletes who are dedicated to high-speed pursuits and want to outrun everything.

The All Conditions Racing Department is where Nike ACG gathers the wild, where collective grit builds community, and where identity and performance come to life. Simply put, it’s where the next evolution of Nike ACG begins.

The elite trail runners who comprise the All Conditions Racing Department roster are co-creating the future of trail performance: testing prototypes, providing feedback and breaking things — all in service of Nike ACG’s charge to build better, stronger, faster and wilder gear for the outdoor athlete.

This takes form in innovation that starts on the mountain, flows through the Nike Sport Research Lab, and lands back in the dirt — setting the pace and standing out from the pack.

“Nike ACG believes that life is meant to be unleashed in the wild,” says Scott LeClair, VP/GM, Nike ACG. “From Fastest Known Times to 100-milers, mountain climbs to river crossings, the pursuit of feral dreams fuels everything we do. It’s dirty. It’s hard. It’s gritty. That’s what Nike ACG and our All Conditions Racing Department athletes are getting after.”

From its founding fathers on Hayward Field to its support of alpine trailblazers scaling K2, Nike has demonstrated for more than five decades an unwavering commitment to pushing the limits of human potential, transforming what’s possible for both elite and everyday athletes. Nike ACG was built in that image nearly 40 years ago, applying Nike’s spirit of innovation to serve athletes who test their mettle in the most extreme environments on earth.

The All Conditions Racing Department advances Nike ACG’s legacy of getting wild with Nike outdoor athletes and supporting their dreams, no matter how audacious. This approach reflects what outdoor athletes have long known: Endurance trail running is built on and fueled by an ardent community of barrier-breakers and innovators — from Transgrancanaria to the Western States Endurance Run, Chongli 168 Ultra Trail to the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.

“The way Nike ACG is showing up for me and my teammates at races like Western States shows their care and investment in trail,” says Caleb Olson, All Conditions Racing Department athlete and winner of the 2025 Western States Endurance Run. “Whether I’m testing new protos, giving input or planning my next summit, Nike ACG’s support means I can push my limits and redefine what’s possible on the trails.”

Olson is among the 22 elite athletes who represent eight countries and five U.S. states on the All Conditions Racing Department roster.

  • Christian Allen (U.S., Utah)
  • Shea Aquilano (U.S., Colorado)
  • Addie Bracy (U.S., Colorado)
  • Riley Brady (U.S., Colorado)
  • Nienke Brinkman (Switzerland)
  • Erin Clark (U.S., Montana)
  • Baptiste Coatantiec (France)
  • Anthony Costales (U.S., Utah)
  • Rachel Drake (U.S., Utah)
  • Ross Gollan (UK)
  • Tyler Green (U.S., Utah)
  • Lauren Gregory (U.S., Colorado)
  • Guangxiong Han (China)
  • Drew Holmen (U.S., Colorado)
  • Bailey Kowalczyk (U.S., Colorado)
  • Gabriela Lasalle (Spain)
  • Cesare Maestri (Italy)
  • Liam Meirow (U.S., Oregon)
  • Daniela Oemus (Germany)
  • Caleb Olson (U.S., Utah)
  • Ti Ren (China)
  • Sophia Rodriguez (U.S., Washington)

All Conditions Racing Department athletes can be found in the wild: showing up for the community, testing prototypes and pushing the limits of gear and grit.

This includes providing feedback on prototype versions of the Nike ACG Ultrafly, a trail-tuned super shoe developed over 13 rounds of testing, encompassing more than 30,000 miles and some of the world’s most prestigious and demanding trail races.

All Conditions Racing Department athletes have also helped shape the development of Nike Radical AirFlow, a breakthrough material technology designed to combat the rising temperatures and heat indexes athletes can face on race day. Throughout the summer, Olson and many other Nike ACG athletes have been trusting, testing and proving the new innovation’s ability to harness the power of air to maximize their own natural cooling mechanisms.

Both prototypes nod to Nike ACG’s commitment to designing footwear and apparel in partnership with All Conditions Racing Department athletes, reflecting Nike’s industry-leading model of athlete partnership and Nike ACG’s commitment to creating products that enable peak performance in the most demanding environments.

A history of testing the limits of athletic performance and products in the world’s harshest environments is deeply embedded in Nike’s DNA. Co-founder Bill Bowerman’s service in the prestigious 10th Mountain Division informed his footwear design philosophy and laid the foundation for Nike ACG’s innovation in service of outdoor athletes.

That innovation dates to 1978, when Nike sponsored the first American expedition to K2, the world’s second-highest mountain, by providing every member of the team with the brand’s latest running shoes, the LDV, for the 110-mile trek to basecamp.
