The Fashion Industry Charter was launched at COP24 in Katowice, Poland, in December 2018 and contains the vision to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Science Based Targets Initiative
More than 600 companies, including 21 from the apparel sector, have committed to or have approved setting ambitious emissions reduction targets through the Science Based Targets initiative, a partnership between CDP, WRI, WWF and the UN Global Compact. Businesses who commit have two years to develop science-based targets, which are then reviewed by the initiative’s team of experts.
