NikeSKIMS Introduces Outerwear and Adds a Bold Red Colorway to Its Latest Collection

NikeSKIMS is introducing outerwear for the first time, pairing performance-driven details with elevated silhouettes to give women more ways to layer through the cooler months. The collection also features a bold new University Red colorway in select styles, along with the return of signature material franchises.
What defines the new outerwear?
Sherpa delivers soft warmth through Nike Therma-FIT technology, while Crunchy Nylon uses water-repellent fabric to bring structure and volume to away-from-body silhouettes.
How does this expand the NikeSKIMS wardrobe?
The new outerwear extends the NikeSKIMS system of dress that already includes tops, bottoms, foundational pieces, footwear and accessories that are designed to transition seamlessly between movement and everyday wear.
What returns for the season?
Returning favorites include Weightless Layers, Performance Cotton Blend, Stretch Knit and Matte across foundational and seasonal styles, giving women hundreds of styling options.
When is it available?

NikeSKIMS is introducing its first outerwear, pairing body-contouring foundations with more ways to layer for the shift into cooler weather, all with a distinctly feminine point of view.
The addition of outerwear advances NikeSKIMS’ head-to-toe system of dress that’s designed to sculpt and engineered to perform, working in unison to give women more ways to transition seamlessly between movement and everyday wear.
Outwear will be available across two new material franchises:
- Sherpa introduces soft, warm layers designed to complement pieces across the NikeSKIMS wardrobe. The franchise includes a vest, half-zip jacket and hooded jacket that combine high-pile Nike Therma-FIT material with a soft brushed interior and recycled nylon contrast panels.
- Crunchy Nylon brings a more structured expression. Its water-repellent fabric has a textured face that creates volume and shape across a cropped jacket, hooded parka, 2-inch short and wide-leg pants.

University Red is this season’s defining new color, energizing the palette and showing up across Matte, Weightless Layers, Performance Cotton Blend, Crunchy Nylon, footwear and accessories.
Returning franchises, including Weightless Layers, Stretch Nylon, Performance Cotton Blend, Stretch Knit, Matte and Airy, round out the collection with lightweight, breathable and moisture-wicking pieces available in additional colorways.
The Matte material collection will expand this season with new body-contouring bras. Stretch Knit will also debut new styles fabricated in a single-layer seamless yarn that creates a beautiful drape and fit.
Further, the NikeSKIMS Rift Satin debuts new Shadow Brown and University Red colorways this season alongside the returning Silt Red.
The collection’s bold styles and colors come to life through a campaign featuring the cheer team from the University of Alabama, a three-decade, all-sport Nike partner and the reigning UCA Division 1A cheerleading champion.
The launch also follows NikeSKIMS’ expansion into China, which brings the brand’s distinctive perspective to one of the world’s most influential markets for sport, style and culture. As the latest step in NikeSKIMS’ continued global growth, the expansion underscores the brand’s commitment to bringing its sport-style innovation to new audiences around the world.
