What's happening?
Nike is announcing the addition of three-time World Champion hybrid athlete Tim Wenisch to the Nike Elite Training Division roster.
Who is Tim Wenisch?
Wenisch is a three-time Hyrox World Champion who has competed in the sport since 2018. His accomplishments include winning the 2025 Hyrox Singles World Championship and back-to-back Hyrox Doubles Elite World Championships in 2025 and 2026. Known for his consistency, discipline and relentless pursuit of improvement, Wenisch embodies the Nike Training mindset.
What is the Nike Elite Training Division?
The Nike Elite Training Division is Nike's performance ecosystem for hybrid racing and competitive fitness. Built for athletes pushing the limits of performance, it brings together innovative footwear and apparel, training philosophies, and a community of the world's top hybrid competitors.
Three-time Hyrox World Champion Tim Wenisch has built his reputation through consistency, discipline and a relentless pursuit of improvement. The 2025 Hyrox Singles World Champion has become one of the sport's most accomplished athletes by embracing the belief that success is earned long before race day.
Now, debuting in the city where his Hyrox journey began, Wenisch is joining the Nike Elite Training Division.
“Joining Nike means a lot to me,” says Wenisch. "Just Do It is more than a slogan. It's a mentality I've lived by throughout my career. I've achieved a lot, but I still feel like I'm just getting started. What excites me most is working with people who share the same hunger to improve, push boundaries and win.”
Known for his hard work, passion and data-driven approach to training, Wenisch is consistently looking for ways to improve. His commitment to getting 1 percent better every day has fueled his rise to the top of the sport and aligns with Nike Training's belief that training is a competitive advantage. Despite everything he's accomplished, Wenisch still believes there's another level to reach.
Making his Nike debut in Hamburg, Germany, this weekend, Wenisch will race in the Nike Hybrid Fly for the first time. Built from the ground up for the unique demands of hybrid racing, the Hybrid Fly is Nike's first dedicated hybrid racing shoe.
“At the highest level, even 1 percent can be the difference between winning and losing,” says Wenisch. “I've always believed that the right equipment can unlock extra performance. The Hybrid Fly has the potential to do exactly that. The shoe influenced my decision, but joining Nike is about much more. It's about pushing innovation, breaking records and shaping the future of hybrid sport together.”
Wenisch joins a growing roster of elite hybrid athletes within the Nike Elite Training Division, including Seka Arning, Charlie Botterill, Emilie Dahmen, Manuela García, Dylan Scott, Calypso Sheridan and Lauren Weeks.
