Made with at least 25% recycled material by weight, the Nike Interact Run makes product designed with sustainability-in-mind more accessible for all runners.
The injection process for the midsole foam helps reduce material waste during production when compared to compression molding, and that injection midsole foam gives a soft, supportive ride. The waffled outsole is made with at least 13% recycled rubber.
The upper features solution-dyed Flyknit yarn, made with 85% recycled polyester. Flyknit weaving also helps decrease material waste — about 60% compared to traditional upper manufacturing. A QR code on the Interact Run tongue invites runners to learn more about how the shoes were created, how Nike’s Care-Repair program helps extend the life of the shoes, and where runners can find a drop-off location to recycle or donate their pair.
The Nike Interact Run is available now on nike.com and at select retailers.
