The Nike Be True collection for summer 2022 creates visibility for communities and helps all athletes show their pride in being their authentic selves. Looking beyond the traditional rainbow, the designs of the product blend colors to represent the diverse perspectives of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
Nike’s advocacy extends beyond product. Since 2019, NIKE, Inc. has provided $2.7 million in support of LGBTQIA2S+ causes to advance inclusion and celebrate the passion of sport by all athletes. These organizations include nonprofit leaders in the transgender equality and sports space including Athlete Ally, the Out Foundation, the GenderCool Project, LGBT SportSafe and GLSEN.
The Nike Oneonta Be True and Nike SB Dunk Low release June 22 via SNKRS and select retailers. Be True apparel releases June 22 on Nike.com, the Nike App and select retailers. The Nike Cortez Be True releases at a later date.
