Nike supports nonprofit organizations that elevate Indigenous communities in North America by taking action to create a culture of belonging in sport that welcomes all Indigenous youth (ages 7 to 17) to play.
Since 2022, Nike has invested $625,000 in grants annually through the N7 Fund, administered by CAF America, to nonprofits that are powering the future of youth sport. This investment continues the legacy of our support for Indigenous communities through the N7 Fund and other grants, totaling $12.1 million to more than 300 organizations since 2009.
Here’s how the N7 Fund works:
- Nonprofit organizations serving Native Hawaiian, Native American, First Nations and/or Alaska Native youth ages 7-17 with an emphasis on girls apply for the N7 Fund grant from November 1, 2024, through January 6, 2025.
- Nike’s Social & Community Impact team and CAF America will conduct a thorough due diligence review of all organizations.
- Eligible organizations will be evaluated by a group of NIKE, Inc. leaders across its Social & Community Impact and North America teams.
- Organizations will be notified by CAF America by the end of May about their grant requests.
- Grant payments are disbursed to selected nonprofits in June by CAF America.
