Matching Our Employees' Impact

What to know

Our employees are the heart of our community impact. They donate, volunteer and coach in the cities where we live, work and operate—and we’re proud to fuel their efforts.

We are proud to support employees’ efforts through donation matching and volunteer rewards on our global employee giving platform.

Give Your Best

NIKE, Inc. matches employees’ cash donations through Give Your Best, the company’s employee giving platform. When employees volunteer in-person or virtually, we also award $10 USD credit per hour, up to $2,500 per year, to donate to the cause of their choice. “Give Your Best” takes its name from legendary middle-distance runner Steve Prefontaine, who said, “To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.” Last year's Giving Tuesday saw more than $10 million directed to over 2000 deserving organizations. To find out more about our tradition of giving, check out nike.com/give in North America and nike.com/gb/give across Europe and South Africa.

Nike Community Ambassadors

Employees from Nike stores around the world share their love of sport by volunteering in local schools and communities through the Nike Community Ambassador program. More than 14,500 employees have served as volunteer youth coaches in their own communities.

NIKE Community Impact Fund

The NIKE Community Impact Fund (NCIF) is an employee-led grant-making program. NCIF supports organizations that create active communities and provide access to play and sport. The success of NCIF is rooted in the passion of NIKE, Inc. employees—no one is more dedicated to what their neighborhoods and communities need than the people who live there. U.S. community organizations can apply for funding during the January through March application period (announced through the NIKE, Inc. Newsroom). Community organizations in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Japan can apply through the King Baudouin Foundation and Japan NPO Center.
