Nike is powering the future of youth sport with the vision of an active, inclusive world that inspires all youth to play and achieve their greatest potential.
A big part of how we bring that to life is through the Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF), an employee-led, neighborhood-focused approach to supporting local community organizations around the world to drive positive, lasting change and make play possible for all kids.
Here’s how NCIF works:
- Local organizations in specific communities apply for grants.
- A local volunteer committee of Nike teammates — from offices, logistic centers and Air Manufacturing and Innovation — is trained on how to review grant applications for the best possible matches.
- The Nike volunteer committee shares its local insights to play a leading role in recommending which organizations should receive funding.
- Organizations are notified by the end of May about their grant requests.
