• Powering the Future of Youth Sport

Championing Our Nike Community Impact Fund

What to know

At Nike, we’re taking action to create a better world by investing in more active, inclusive communities, starting with the cities where we live, work and operate.

Nike Community Impact Fund About Nike

Juega Más – Escuelas Activas in Mexico City empowers P.E. teachers to promote fun and inclusive play and physical education for girls and boys in public primary schools.

Nike is powering the future of youth sport with the vision of an active, inclusive world that inspires all youth to play and achieve their greatest potential.

A big part of how we bring that to life is through the Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF), an employee-led, neighborhood-focused approach to supporting local community organizations around the world to drive positive, lasting change and make play possible for all kids.

Here’s how NCIF works:

  • Local organizations in specific communities apply for grants.
  • A local volunteer committee of Nike teammates — from offices, logistic centers and Air Manufacturing and Innovation — is trained on how to review grant applications for the best possible matches.
  • The Nike volunteer committee shares its local insights to play a leading role in recommending which organizations should receive funding.
  • Organizations are notified by the end of May about their grant requests.

Apply for a grant in a city near you from January 9 through February 15, 2025:

  • Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Hilversum, Utrecht (The Netherlands)
  • Antwerp, Limburg, Flemish Brabant (Belgium)
  • Atlanta (USA)
  • Mid-South/Memphis, Tennessee (USA)
  • Portland, Oregon/Pacific Northwest (USA)
  • St. Louis (USA)
  • Tokyo, Kitakyushu (Japan)
  • Toronto, Canada’s Neighbourhood Improvement Areas

Watch for direct links to the application form on January 9. Learn more about the 2024 NCIF grantees here.
