Venkatesh Alagirisamy,
Chief Supply Chain Officer

As Chief Supply Chain Officer, Venkatesh Alagirisamy leads enterprise strategy for NIKE, Inc.’s Supply Chain, Sustainability and Express Lane organizations to create and capture value. This includes overseeing a global supply chain network that encompasses raw materials, product manufacturing, logistics and fulfillment, as well as speed-to-market business models and the company’s efforts to achieve People and Planet goals.

Since joining Nike in 2006, Venkatesh has held progressive senior leadership roles and driven enterprise transformation and operational excellence across all Nike brands, multiple operating segments, and geographies, including Greater China where he lived for several years. Starting as a Process Manager within Supply Chain, Venkatesh has worked across Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Global Operations including serving as Vice President, Global Operations & Express Lane and Chief Operating Officer for Converse.

Venkatesh serves as Co-Chair of the MIT Sloan School of Management Leaders for Global Operations governing board. He received his MBA from Duke University, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute in India.
