Cathy Sparks,
Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA)

Cathy Sparks has been leading NIKE, Inc.’s Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) geography since March 2023. In her role she is responsible for delivering Nike’s strategy and serving over 3 billion athletes across its most diverse geography.

A 25+ year NIKE veteran, Cathy previously led Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Nike Direct where she was responsible for NIKE’s direct-to-consumer business, comprising of physical stores, Nike.com, and Nike apps. Prior to joining EMEA in October 2020, she was the VP/GM, Global Nike Direct Stores and Services, leading the strategic direction, concept development, and consumer-facing services across the global Nike Store landscape.

Cathy joined NIKE in 1996 at Niketown Portland as a store athlete. Since then, she has led teams across all four geographies resulting in deep experience in marketplace transformation and consumer-led growth. Her prior roles include VP/GM, North America Nike Stores; VP, Nike Direct Retail Concepts; GM, Emerging Markets DTC and GM, Korea DTC.
