Jazmine Hughes is a writer, professor and public speaker. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, VOGUE, the Washington Post, and New York magazine, among many others, where she has profiled people such as Viola Davis, Whoopi Goldberg, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, Questlove, Sarah Paulson and Julianne Moore. She has two National Magazine Awards.

Jazmine has taught writing classes and workshops at Cornell University, The New School of Social Research, and the Lower East Side Girls Club, and moderated panels for American Express, Netflix and the Tribeca Film Festival. She lives between New York City and Mexico.
