Cathy Sparks,
Vice President & General Manager, Greater China

As the Vice President & General Manager for Greater China, Cathy Sparks is responsible for shaping the vision and leading the team to drive long-term growth in the region, with the goal of elevating NIKE, Inc. brands and fostering strong consumer connections. 

A 25+ year NIKE veteran, Cathy previously served as the VP/GM of Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) since 2023. Prior to that, she led Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Nike Direct where she was responsible for NIKE’s direct-to-consumer business, comprising of physical stores, Nike.com, and Nike apps. She also served as the VP/GM, Global Nike Direct Stores and Services, leading the strategic direction, concept development, and consumer-facing services across the global Nike Store landscape.

Cathy joined NIKE in 1996 at Niketown Portland as a store athlete. Since then, she has led teams across all four geographies resulting in deep experience in marketplace transformation and consumer-led growth. Her prior roles include VP/GM, North America Nike Stores; VP, Nike Direct Retail Concepts; GM, Emerging Markets DTC and GM, Korea DTC.
