スケートボーダー堀米雄斗がパリで2連覇を達成

驚異の最終トリック、ノーリー270ノーズブラントスライドで、7位から一躍トップへ。パリで本日、Nikeアスリートの堀米雄斗が2個目の金メダルを獲得しました。 25歳の日本人スケートボーダーである彼は、2021年に自国で開催され、スケートボード男子ストリートが初めて採用された前回大会でも優勝しています。

雄斗がNikeアスリートになったのは2016年。彼はこう語っています。「スケートボードには、正解も不正解もありません。でも、どうしても何が正しいのかを探そうとしてしまう。答えがあるとは思いません。けれど、自分を信じていれば、夢はかなうと思っています。一番大切なのは、自分を信じること。自信を持って自分を信じることです」
