Michael Gonda,
EVP, chief communications officer, NIKE, Inc.

As EVP, Chief Communications Officer, Michael leads Nike's global communications organisation, focused on strengthening brand trust and inspiring athletes everywhere. A seasoned communications leader, he has a widely recognised track record of elevating and protecting the reputations of some of the world's most influential multinational brands. Michael joined Nike from McDonald's Corporation, where he held several senior leadership roles, including chief impact officer for North America—overseeing communications, public affairs, sustainability, community engagement and philanthropy—and global chief communications officer. Prior to this, Michael held senior leadership roles at Chobani, a purpose-driven food company, and communications agency Weber Shandwick. An avid runner and traveller, Michael has lived across the United States, Kenya and China. He earned a Bachelor's degree in English with honours from Brown University.
